With a shorter face and longer handle than other paddles, the Graphite Aero-D produces less wind-resistance when swinging, allowing for a faster paddle and better net play. The graphite addition to this paddle makes it slightly heavier, but also gives the paddle more bounce when hitting the ball. This extra bounce means a harder hit with almost no sacrifice in paddle speed.
